ROBOT first emerged on the electronic music scene eight years ago, DJing and organizing events in the now legendary CE-Top, then swiftly going on to revolutionize Hong Kong’s clubbing experience with the power of spandex. ROBOT has since hosted well over 100 events in Hong Kong; Hairy Illusion, Housework, Grunt, and Magnetic to name but a few, and held a two-year residency at Yumla. Currently ROBOT is hosting a monthly clubbing experience under the guise of Clockenflap, which aims to bring all of the positive and diverse elements of electronic music culture under one roof.

Since 2002, tinkerings with lots of wires and various electronic devices have led to the creation of original Robot tracks, with their debut release on Love da Records planned for May 2006. Components of these have been re-worked into a live set; utilizing sequencers, midi control surfaces and synthesizers - the result is a highly charged and unique live show. Performing at Rockit Music Festival each year, and joined by live lead and bass guitar, vocals, the theremin, some puppets and live visuals; the ROBOT live experience is not to be missed. The infamous havoc causing ROBOT team promises mayhem (the natural state of ROBOT), whilst audiences enjoy a range of electronic music, through glitchy-dub, electro, breaks, house and techno.
